Brian Kelly, founder and CEO of BKCM, an investment firm focused on cryptocurrencies, predicted on CNBC yesterday that the value of Bitcoin Cash could rise.
On Saturday, Bitcoin Cash miners funded a BCH development fund.
Kelly announced that miners would like to allocate a portion of the reward they receive from mining and spend it on the development of the BCH ecosystem. Kelly stated that this could help increase the value of Bitcoin Cash and said:
“This is how blockchains gain value. The more usefulness turns into value, the more use cases you get. This could be positive for Bitcoin Cash.”
In the last 24 hours, BCH has lost almost 6 percent from $1290 to $1205. Still, it’s much higher than the April level of $760.
